Stephen Gordon is a founder, Chief Technology Officer, and VP of Engineering at Blink, a venture-backed leading provider of battery powered video security cameras for the connected home. Steve has 20+ years in the Silicon Valley (Telebit) and Boston (Pixel Magic, Sand Video, Immedia) startup worlds as well as stints at Broadcom, Siemens, and Oak Technology (now Qualcomm). His technical expertise is in the areas of video processing, imaging, and embedded real-time systems have over 30 patents issued and was the lead contributor to the H.264 High Profile video compression standard that won an Emmy Award in 2008. He has lectured at MIT on video compression and presented on SIMD architectures and audio compression. Steve holds a BA in mathematics and economics from Amherst College and a MSEE from the University of Massachusetts.
Marc Bolh is the founder and CEO of Ascendo which publishes the VidaLingua brand of language learning apps and DataVault, a leading password manager for mobile devices. Marc is also the founder of PhraseMates a social networking app for language enthusiasts. Prior to starting Ascendo, Marc worked as a sales director for Openwave, Microsoft, and Oracle, based in Paris, France. Marc is an advisor to Majorwise and Renoun Ski as well as an avid investor. In his spare time, he is an amateur musician, keyword "amateur" :)
