THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN CANCELLED

The days are getting longer, the winds feel warmer, and the sun is shining a little bit brighter. Spring is back and so are our cold blooded friends. Throughout the day, we’ll explore what it means to be cold blooded with games, art projects, and tales of how the snakes, salamanders, turtles, and spring peepers survive the winter. We’ll scope the peeper pond for tadpoles, the beaver pond for baby bullfrogs and, with luck, meet many of our ectothermic neighbors along the way. See you this spring!

We integrate the outdoor classroom with rigorous academic concepts, conservation-based themes, and connection with nature. Audubon Vermont's series of monthly UnSchool programs focuses on key science concepts: math, biology, environmental sciences, outdoor skills, and communication/team skills. Audubon's programs will enrich, reinforce, and diversify what you’re working on at home.
