We—like the rest of the world—have been closely tracking coronavirus (COVID-19). Without question, the health and well-being of the community is our top priority. For this reason, plans for the Persist 5K are being put on hold until April 15th. Like you, we are hoping that this international health crisis passes quickly, and we can all resume our normal lives. Imagine how wonderful it will be to join several hundred of your friends, family and community members in the Persist 5K on May 10th—we truly hope we can make this a reality! And so, we are temporarily closing registrations with the hope of reopening the registration on April 15th. Until then, please take care of yourselves and your family and stay well. If you have specific questions or concerns, please email [email protected].
Born from the energy of the Women's Marches, the Persist 5k Run/Walk is an event for all of us to champion the rights of women and raise money for the most vulnerable among us. This is a chance to wear our hats again and experience the tremendous solidarity of togetherness as we put in motion a symbol of resistance and solidarity, raise awareness of our voice in our state, and support Vermont women in need. Race proceeds will benefit the Vermont Women's Fund.
