Audubon is a wonderful place to discover nature's most mysterious plants. From poison ivy to plantain, we will learn to tell hazard from helper and have lots of time for foraging, making concoctions, and flora journals. Learn the different forest flora of Audubon, and how beneficial they are to the ecosystem here and in Vermont!
We integrate the outdoor classroom with rigorous academic concepts, conservation-based themes, and connection with nature. Audubon Vermont's series of monthly UnSchool programs focuses on key science concepts: math, biology, environmental sciences, outdoor skills, and communication/team skills. Audubon's programs will enrich, reinforce, and diversify what you’re working on at home.
